lovely crisp focus around the heads - being able to see all the little chips and things really adds to this pic!

You've paid good attention to detail; I like the simple texture they're standing on, and the lamp is good for this sort of shot - some lamps are ugly and kind of ruin the feel of the shot, reflected in the objects. I love the short focus that makes their faces and the hat sharp and their bodies blurred, that kinda thing just always looks good! And it is a cute image...

i worte a comment but my heap of crap computer lost it. it went something like this. great shot, the black and white colour system is very powerful. i love the way it is timeless. i did know penguins mate for life.
